My name is Cooper Quillen. I recently graduated from The University of Kentucky with a
masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I grew up in Eastern Kentucky and have
lived in the Georgetown-Lexington area for the last ten years. I decided to become a therapist
because the brain fascinates me and I deeply enjoy listening to other people’s stories and
helping them understand themselves better.
My goal as a therapist is to understand my clients as human beings and as equals. I enjoy
working with all ages and have worked in the past with people from a variety of backgrounds
seeking help with navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or major life transitions. I am
committed to providing a space in which all people feel welcome and comfortable with sharing
who they truly are; and in doing so feel heard and understood.
