Jennifer Congleton
LCSW
My name is Jennifer Congleton and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. “People start to heal the moment they are heard” is a quote I have embraced as a therapist. We all face challenges and having a safe place to discuss them is the first step towards healing. I began my career 20 years ago in the field of social work and over the years have worked in multiple settings such as child welfare, Hospice, inpatient psychiatry hospitals, and outpatient substance abuse. I have found my passion is working with adolescents and young adults, although I have extensive experience working with adults. My experiences include, but are not limited to, substance abuse, family conflict, grief/loss, mood disorders, personality disorders, and anger management. My therapeutic approach can be described as client-centered, strength-based, and relationship-focused. I focus on the importance of meeting the client where they are and work together to formulate a treatment plan that best meets your needs. My goal is to walk this journey with you and provide you with the tools needed to be successful and as mentally healthy as you can be.
