Madelyn Quillen is a Nicholasville, Kentucky native who is currently enrolled in the
Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (BASW) program at the University of Kentucky (UK). After
graduation, she plans to attend graduate school at UK, earning her master’s in social work
(MSW). She hopes to work in mental health counseling with adolescents and adults, as
well as work towards obtaining her LCSW.
Earlier social work experience includes volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House of
Lexington, being a practicum peer coach at UK Student Support Services for nontraditional
college students, and being a practicum student at the Nicholasville Police Department.
She is very excited to be working alongside the Admin team at Southland Child, Adult, and
Family Counseling!
In her free time, Madelyn loves to read, do crafts, and go to concerts. She also loves to
travel, her goal being to go to all 50 states and as many countries as possible!
