My name is Maggie McGlone. I was born and raised in Northern Kentucky. I am a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan and love football! I also love traveling and going to concerts, especially to see Taylor Swift or Harry Styles.

I graduated from EKU with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in May of 2022. I am currently attending EKU for my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with plans to graduate in May 2025. I currently work behind the scenes with the amazing admin staff. Soon I will have the honor of starting my clinical work here at Southland Counseling. This clinical work will be the main focus for the last year of my Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I am open to working with most age groups, but especially with middle school, high school and college age clients. A more Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) based approach will be my main orientation, but I will always meet the client where they are to assess how to best move forward in our sessions. I aim to always create a safe, non-judgmental environment for all clients to find a comfortable space to learn, process and grow on this journey.
